About the Job:

The position of Business Development Intern will have primary responsibility to assist the President, Intermodal and Vice President, Business Development with administrative tasks pertaining to gathering and organization of data for the Odyssey Rail Intermodal Sales team, maintenance of customer information in Salesforce and travel coordination for company executives.

In This Role, You Will:

 

  • Collaborate with VP, Business Development and Sales team members to gather customer information
  • Accurately input customer data such as names, addresses, and opportunity information into Salesforce
  • Edit current data in Salesforce to ensure accuracy
  • Run appropriate reports relevant to specific customer opportunities and share with Sales team
  • Coordinate travel bookings such as flights and hotel accommodations for Sales team and executive management

Required:

 

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree or currently enrolled in degree program.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Goal oriented and performance driven
  • Creative thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

This is an in-office role based Palos Heights, IL.
