Job Overview:
  • Assist clients and applicants in managing and understanding the FCRA and FACT Act, adverse action and dispute process.   
  • Conduct reinvestigations and assist the manager with the day to day operations as it relates to adverse action, disputes and copy requests.
A Day in the Life:
  • You will receive inbound phone calls and makes outbound calls to applicants regarding their background reports.
  • You will work closely with manager to answer clients’ questions and inquires to resolve their applicants’ background concerns.
  • You will file disputes and handle the reinvestigation process (client and vendor notifications).
  • You will file and process all copy requests to include those from California, Minnesota, and Oklahoma (via release request).
  • You will credential new background accounts and packages, as well as, product set-up for credit reports and E-Verify.
  • You will initiate audit of internal and external processes, procedures, and business practices, as it relates to the FCRA, DOT, federal, state and local guidelines.
  • You will initiate audit of vendor results for accuracy and refreshing of stale information.
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Has intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Has FCRA Basic Certification within 90 days from hire.
  • Has a PI License.
  • Has a High School Diploma or equivalent; plus, coursework/Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal or related field OR equivalent of two years’ experience in criminal justice field.
