Job Overview:
Conducts daily operations of the background screening department. Report information in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), state and federal laws, as well as, DISA guidelines.
 
A Day in the Life:
You will process US Sex offender searches.
You will assist with Texas Stateside research.
You will assist with Federal level research.
You will process and fulfill MVRs in some states.
You will request and process releases.
You will makesoutgoing calls.
You will handle vendor requests for more information needed on applicants.
You will research records for criminal and non-criminal history.
You will grade and handle compliance of criminal history.
You will process releases and other received materials.
You will assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.
You will review public record information returned by researcher for completeness, accuracy and relevance.
You will perform online public record research as assigned.
You will conduct Texas Stateside research.
You will conduct Federal level public record research.
 
Our Ideal Candidate:
Has the ability to provide administrative tasks including typing and filing.
Has strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
Has intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite.
Has strong communicative skills, both written and verbal.
Has the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Has strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Has current PI License, or will obtain PI License.
Has current FCRA Certification (or ability to obtain).
Has high School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of customer service experience plus coursework/Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal or related field OR equivalent of two years’ experience in criminal justice field
